Hi, and welcome! Grab a glass of wine and a handful of chocolate and make yourself comfy, and I’ll try not to take up too much of your reading time. If you’re anything like me, that time is precious and all too hard to come by.
When I’m awake and not writing, I live the glamorous life of a modern mom and military wife. My children are usually well-fed, my cats have their favorite hiding spots, and my husband has a sense of humor.
That sense of humor? That’s my favorite part. I love to laugh, whether it’s at a clever book or movie, or over something one of my kids said (I know you know what I’m talking about here), or when I’m laughing at myself when I drop a full gallon of milk on the floor and it explodes and sprays everything (and everyone) within a six-foot radius. Better to laugh than cry, right?
I might have the occasional epic disaster in the kitchen, but my real superpowers come when I’m asleep. I’ve been a lucid dreamer for as long as I can remember. In my dreams, I’ve been a ninja, a vampire-unicorn slayer, a viking warlord, and, in one memorable (and remarkably non-violent) instance, an intergalactic princess. I’ve controlled bullets with my mind, rewound a dream so I could triumph over the bad guy again, and (my favorite) rescued my husband from pendulum axes in a cathedral. I dream about happily ever afters and about hanging out with celebrities and my favorite characters from time to time too, and I also love to hear about other people’s crazy dreams.
If you’re still with me, I suspect you’ll enjoy my books. And we would probably have a great time over more wine and chocolate. I’d love to meet you over on my facebook page or twitter feed, and don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter to be the first to hear about my new releases.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
